-IT vendor targets UK market at the UK’s number one IT infrastructure event-

London, UK: 9 October 2012 – Praim, the global vendor and designer of Thin Client solutions, will make its UK debut at IP EXPO on 17 and 18 October at London’s Earls Court 2, showcasing its latest hardware platforms and most recent software integrations.

Praim, which officially launched in the UK in August, will draw the attention of attendees with its latest Series of Thin Clients “Ino SoC” and “Compact Dual Core”. Praim will also showcase its most recent integration with the appliances for strong authentication developed by US partner, Imprivata.

Praim’s new series of Ino SoC Thin Clients based on ARM’s new 1GHz TI DM8148, integrating the latest generation of Systems-on-Chip technology developed by Texas Instruments, will be shown on stand A68 at this year’s IP EXPO. The processor boasts 3D graphics, full HD resolution and optimised DSP for Citrix HDX and Microsoft Remote FX protocols thanks to the integrated GPU. The device blends together the great user, multimedia experience with the highly affordable System-on-Chip architecture, providing exceptional performance at an entry-level price.

On Praim’s stand at IP EXPO, the new Compact dual core Series based on a VIA Eden X2 dual core 1GHz processor will also be showcased. Consistent with Praim’s green philosophy, the new Compact Dual Core Series, thanks to the entirely new platform offers great performance in a power efficient solution. Depending on user requirements, it will be available for the entire range of Praim Operating Systems, including Praim ThinOX, Windows XPe SP3, Windows Embedded Standard 7 SP1 and Windows CE 6.0R2.

The high manageability of ThinOX will be shown in action together with Praim ThinMan management console, and its high- flexibility will be demoed in partnership with Imprivata. The integration with Imprivata OneSign will show the benefits of a quick, easy and secure No Click Access to Virtual Desktops. Attendees will see a demonstration of how to authenticate securely to Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp with HDX™, VMware View with PCoIP® and Microsoft RDS with RDP with a simple “tap” of an ID proximity badge.
