DWF LLP selects Logicalis UK for pay-per-use IP Video Service

5th October 2012, London - Logicalis UK today announced that business law firm, DWF LLP, has signed up for its cloud-based video facility.  Logicalis’ ImmersiV video-as-a-service, which connects via IP and is delivered in a pay-per-use consumption model, will enable DWF to communicate effectively across its network of offices and with clients through high definition video conferencing.

ImmersiV is a new monthly per-user subscription facility that connects to the organisation’s IP network. It replaces DWF’s legacy ISDN video conferencing systems, which provided lower quality, limited functionality and were costly to use.

Richard Hodkinson, CTO at DWF, said: “We wanted to upgrade communication facilities throughout the business to facilitate closer collaboration of legal teams and clients across our increasing geographical spread.”

The service enables virtual meetings that are comparable to face-to-face contact. The system allows DWF’s network of offices to “meet” via Logicalis UK’s ImmersiV hosted service. The law firm, which has already completed three acquisitions this year, says the adoption of ImmersiV video conferencing will support its growing business needs.

DWF is continuing its headline mission of becoming a Top 20 practice. DWF, which has eleven offices in the UK and a global network of preferred firms, is able to host simultaneous multiple meetings through ImmersiV’s multi meeting room facility. The system also allows DWF’s staff to work remotely and can be accessed from mobile devices, as well as desktop computers.

Logicalis, an international IT solutions and managed services provider, was already a trusted partner to DWF prior to the deal. The technology expert currently provides business solutions to over 6,000 corporate clients across the world.
