Tanning Beds: Price Depend on Model and Make
« Posted: November 04, 2007, 12:51:15 PM »

For the interested purchasers, the prices of tanning beds is determined by its model and make. The costly models are those that use lots of bulbs that produces quick and uniform tanning. Aside from this, the price greatly depends on the shape and styling of the product, considering the quality of the materials used.

The cheapest and lower-level tanning beds are normally sold for $799 to $899; the cost of medium level beds ranges from $3,000 to $3,500; while the more sophisticated beds (usually the ones produced by leading brands in the market) can cost anything up to $10,000. For tanning beds that can be purchased for a bargain, the user has the option of buying used tanning beds. These beds may cost from $150 to $2,000 - the price is way affordable and gives the same tanning effects.

A good place to buy tanning beds is the net. A customer can get a tanning bed at a price that is much less than the price offered by a retail store. This is because of the low overheads involved in running a website. The website owner has one more advantage. He is dealing directly with the manufacturer, and can afford to pass on larger discounts to his customers.

Another place to buy a tanning bed is a sale organized by the manufacturer. This happens when a manufacturer wants to phase out a model, and offers the entire stock at reduced prices. There are some distributors too who hold a sale from time to time. They too sell tanning beds at low prices during such sales.

One can also expect to get good prices when one buys a large number of beds. The manufacturer or the distributor then offers a price which is much less than the retail price of each bed. The same applies to distress sales or sales organized by tanning salons. A customer can get a good price at either of these sales.
