Munich – Monday, 10th December 2012 – Speexx, the award-winning leader in online corporate language training, has confirmed that Speexx Exchange, its annual series of global e-learning events, proved even more successful than last year, attracting over 400 attendees across four major cities.
This year, Speexx Exchange took place throughout November in Paris, Madrid, Milan and Berlin, offering HR Directors, Senior decision makers of multinational businesses and keynote speakers a valuable opportunity to network and share best practice for workforce learning. Attendees included an impressive line-up of global experts from organisations such as Richemont, Airbus, Nokia Siemens Networks, Towards Maturity, Vodafone, Bel, African Development Bank and many more.
In parallel to the conference, Speexx also audits participants before, during and after the event as part of the Speexx Exchange Business Mobility Survey. This survey captures the challenges and attitudes of global organisations towards current learning & development trends. A full report will be released in January 2013 ahead of Learning Technologies, but early findings, based on the 210 organisations that have completed the survey so far, include the following:
One in three organisations already feel that they are being influenced by cloud-based learning
49 percent of organisations use e-learning to improve business communication skills
64 percent consider communication skills to be crucial to business success.
“We are delighted to have created yet another successful global series of e-learning events with unique insights and a diverse blend of organisations from around the world”, commented Armin Hopp, Founder and President at Speexx. “The learning management solution industry has undergone a rapid wave of consolidation which highlights the fact that those in charge of training and talent management need to rethink the way they approach learning. Speexx Exchange provides an excellent opportunity to understand how these changes are likely to affect them and allows individuals to share best practice on bridging technical changes against their own corporate needs.”
Attendees confirmed that they were extremely impressed by the diverse blend of speakers and regarded Speexx Exchange as an highly valuable learning opportunity. 90 percent said they would be interested in joining again next year. More highlights and quotes can be found on the official Speexx Exchange website and via the Speexx Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
