Aug. 17, 2009 — Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced that Gartner, Inc. has positioned Adobe in the Leaders Quadrant of its 2009 “Magic Quadrant for Web Conferencing” research report. Adobe was one of 14 vendors evaluated for the report*. The rating criteria included product/service, overall viability, customer experience, market understanding, marketing strategy, product strategy and innovation.

Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro is the company’s enterprise Web conferencing solution that enables live, interactive Web meetings, virtual classes, on-demand presentations and courses and group collaboration. It runs on Adobe Flash Player software, which unlike any other member of the Leaders Quadrant, is installed on more than 98 percent of Internet-enabled desktops. This allows easy access for participants even in lock-down environments or external-facing meetings, enabling organisations to effectively share a wide range of content, including slides, live and recorded video, Adobe Flash Player compatible content, live screen sharing, application sharing, audio and multiuser text chat.
