Alchemy Solutions Celebrates First Anniversary At Microsoft TechEd Conference in Berlin
BEND, Oregon, 10 Nov., 2009 – Alchemy Solutions, Inc., (
www.alchemysolutions.com) provider of legacy modernization solutions for the Microsoft .NET Framework, today celebrates the first anniversary of its spinoff from Fujitsu's Software Group. A Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Alchemy Solutions is marking the occasion in its balloon-festooned booth at Microsoft’s TechEd Europe conference in Berlin, Germany.
The market-leading Alchemy Solutions software preserves and extends customer investments in their legacy mainframe systems by modernizing applications during the process of being migrated to the .NET environment. One year after its formation from the Legacy Modernization group at Fujitsu, Alchemy Solutions has tripled the company's size, launched a major new partnership program, and announced significant new customers like personal productivity pacesetter Day-Timer, Inc.
Among the key management additions is Larry Blaustein, who recently joined the company in the role of director of partner sales. Blaustein comes to Alchemy Solutions from Sun Microsystems where, as U.S. Partner Alliance Manager, he co-developed programs that enabled business partners to profitably increase professional services sales and delivery revenue.
“It is rewarding to have achieved this growth and acceptance in such a short time,” said Ron Langer, vice president of sales and general manager for Alchemy Solutions. “With Fujitsu's legendary product line and our own .NET-focused mainframe modernization products, Microsoft customers have quickly recognized that Alchemy continues to deliver value by reducing the total cost of ownership while exploiting the capabilities of Visual Studio and the .NET Framework.”
In addition to company growth and new customer signings this year, Alchemy Solutions rolled-out NeoServices, a Windows-based system for service-enabling mainframe business logic and integrating with modern application and web environments. NeoServices gives enterprises the ability to service-enable existing mainframe, as well as NeoKicks-based business logic, with no code changes. These services enable a company’s proven mainframe assets to be leveraged in new initiatives like new portals, CRM and ERP applications, or new application development.
Attendees of the TechEd Europe conference in Berlin are encouraged to visit Alchemy Solutions at booth E-67 for a product demonstration and to meet the team.
