Celona demonstrates how to remove risks and lower the costs of OSS/BSS application data migration at TM Forum Conference
London, UK, 18th November 2009 – With application data migration now firmly on the agenda of communication service providers (CSPs) as a key transformation enabler, Celona will be speaking in the main conference with BT on how to overcome the challenges of OSS/BSS application data migration, demonstrating their zero downtime software. Celona’s Evolve software will be showcased in a Forumville Catalyst with KPN and Logica where the increasing importance of OSS/BSS application data migration for CSPs will be discussed. TM Forum Management World Americas 2009 takes place between the 8th and 10th December 2009.
Tony Sceales, Celona’s CTO, will be speaking in the main conference programme alongside BT on the subject: Migration Mountains – How to Overcome the Issues Associated with Data and Process Migration for Today’s Communication Service Providers. Celona will also be demonstrating a joint project with KPN and Logica, Next Generation Application Data Migration Catalyst, in Forumville, showing how a new approach to application data migration is now possible, without the risk or disruption, as a new generation enabler for OSS/BSS Transformation with a real-world case-study.
Matt Hooper, Celona’s CMO commented “Application data migration has long been on the critical path for OSS/BSS, but it does not need to be that way. We will be providing a complete insight into how Celona Evolve software delivers faster value, with less risk and cost than any other application data migration tools or approach. Our software is designed for managing complex, business process-centric migrations using its unique zero-downtime technology which is purpose built for OSS/BSS applications.”
Attendees of the conference can see the demonstration at regular intervals throughout the show at the TM Forum Catalyst Program Forumville as well as meet Celona data migration experts in their executive suite on the show floor.
