London - 17 October 2012 - Jitscale, the international outsourcing partner for business-critical IT platforms, is pleased to announce that they have won a contract to work with ARAG, the leading Dutch provider of legal insurance. Jitscale has been contracted to manage ARAG’s Quinity Insurance Solution (QIS) application for years to come. QIS is a fully integrated web-based policy and claims management system for insurance companies, proxies and intermediaries.
Towards the end of 2011 ARAG began a competitive search for the management of its latest QIS application. Jitscale beat the competition and won the contract due to a number of differentiating reasons, including the delivery of a favourable SLA and recent experience with managing QIS applications for several other financial institutions.
Jitscale will be managing ARAG’s full chain, which means its engineers will be responsible for infrastructural and technical application management as well as application performance. In addition to QIS applications, Jitscale manages similar premium calculation tools for several of its clients, as well as other business-critical automated operational processes of a similar or larger scale.
ARAG’s QIS application runs on a fully redundant physical infrastructure designed and set up by Jitscale, running multiple virtual machines. The platform offers ARAG advanced testing, preproduction, production, management and back-up environments. The application currently has more than 600 users and an extranet set-up, which also offers access to 2500 potential intermediaries to the platform.
“Our QIS application, AIDA, is the backbone of our company; supporting front, mid and back office processes throughout the life cycle of policy and claim in one integrated system. In view of the importance of the application, we went in search of a reliable partner who could manage it. Jitscale’s proven track record in the field was a decisive factor in making our choice. We are confident that our cooperation will be both enjoyable and successful,” says Liesbeth Luijendijk, ICT & Quality Manager at ARAG.
