ASC to Introduce Communications Recording Solutions for TETRA at TETRA World Congress 2008

MARATHON EVOLUTION Suite to be Demonstrated at Show

Hoesbach/Germany, May 23, 2008 – ASC (www.asctelecom.com), a leading global provider of innovative solutions to record, analyze and evaluate communications, today announced it will exhibit its new communications recording Suite, MARATHON EVOLUTION 8.0 for TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio), at the TETRA World Congress 2008, Hong Kong Exhibition Center, Hong Kong, China, on May 25-26, 2008, at booth #H4.

The event unites TETRA users, manufacturers, network operators, application developers and system integrators from around the world. It will feature over 100 presentations, case studies, interviews and panel sessions.

TETRA, an interoperability standard for professional mobile radio communications, was delineated by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) to allow interaction among mobile equipment from multiple vendors.  Its flexible digital addressing helps diverse organizations communicate during emergency situations. In addition to public safety, TETRA networks are employed by airports, utilities, government agencies, commercial organizations and the military.

ASC’s MARATHON EVOLUTION Suite for TETRA includes MARATHON EVOlite, MARATHON EVOLUTION, MARATHON EVOLUTION XXL and EVOip to meet the needs of any-sized organization. It records all voice and data communications including VoIP, trunked radio, and analog or digital telephony on one, scaleable platform and provides optimal data security through mirrored and hot-swap hard disks. Up to 480 channels may be recorded simultaneously, with online storage up to 280,000 channel hours, while maintaining fast and efficient playback of interactions.
