Hungerford, Berkshire, UK: 21 August 2012 – To help its channel partners drive revenue opportunities from top quality audio installations by firmly putting the 'A' back into AV, RGB Communications is committed to making sure that the content and format of its already successful Audio Essentials training course continues to give delegates the knowledge to meet the demands of their customers in the commercial and residential audio markets.

"Our Audio Essentials course, the content of which is constantly evolving, gives delegates a firm foundation of the first principles of audio installation. This foundation means that they understand how and why audio installations either succeed or fail," said RGB's CTO, David Webster.

"From the all important revenue generating perspective, the Audio Essentials course will help delegates to expertly highlight to potential customers the superior levels of sound quality which can be achieved from investment in top quality audio solutions, steering them away from settling for a poor quality but cheaper option," continued Webster.

RGB, one of the UK's top technical AV distributors, has always understood the importance of delivering market leading training to its channel partners and its Audio Essentials course has already been well received with 69% of delegates, who attended during the first half of 2012, rating the course as being excellent.

"As a newcomer to the AV industry, I wanted and needed to understand the basics of audio," explained Greg Dixon, Service Workshop Technician at Focus 21. "Audio Essentials is the best course I've done. It was very informative and I learnt a great deal and picked up some extremely useful tips."

"Audio Essentials is an excellent course. The tutor was clearly an audio expert and his enthusiasm for the subject filtered down to the delegates," said Luke Sanger, Director at iCensia.

Andy Long, Install Technician with MJ Visual said, "Audio Essentials met all of my objectives from my attendance and I have booked a place on other RGB courses."

"Audio Essentials provided me with a good overall understanding of audio and I have already signed up for more RGB training courses," commented Chris Smith of Involve.

The objective of all of RGB's training courses is to make sure that its channel partners are fully up to date with the latest solutions from its product portfolio and importantly, know how to successfully deploy them.

"Good training leads to increased expertise among our channel partners. Audio Essentials makes sure that the same emphasis is placed on audio as it is on video, together we can put the 'A' back into AV and deliver high quality audio solutions which win new business and drive repeat business," Webster added.

Any channel partners who are interested in attending the next Audio Essentials training course taking place on Tuesday 4 September and Tuesday 27 November should call RGB +44 (0)1488 73366 and ask for Kate Wilson.
