Berkeley PR is thrilled to announce that it has been shortlisted at this year’s Mi Awards for the “Best B2B Marketing Strategy and Campaign” category.
The agency has been shortlisted for its work with client Iron Mountain and its pan-European influencer campaign to transform business attitudes to information.
In the face of growing international concern about the number of data breaches taking place, the high profile PR campaign aimed to raise awareness among business leaders of the urgent need to protect and make the most of information.
The campaign included the creation of Europe’s first ‘Information Risk Maturity Index’, which revealed just how exposed most firms were. It also saw the launch of the global concept of Corporate Information Responsibility.
An international press summit held in La Bolsa de Madrid in March 2012 brought experts, analysts and journalists together to discuss the issues uncovered by the research and explore opportunities for action.
To date, the campaign has secured more than 250 items of media coverage, including articles in the Financial Times, the Times and Bloomberg as well as leading European business publications.
Commenting on the nomination, Paul Stallard, director at Berkeley PR, said:
“Everyone at Berkeley PR has worked tremendously hard on this campaign and we are both overjoyed and excited to be rewarded with this prestigious award nomination. We have had a long standing relationship with Iron Mountain and we look forward to achieving more coverage like this, helping to transform business attitudes towards data protection and information risk.”
The Mi Awards ceremony will be held at the Mercure Hotel in Manchester on November 15.
