Among the topics to be discussed is the critical role of data centres in sustaining competitive advantage for European ICT. Steve Wallage, managing director, BroadGroup Consulting, will address the challenges and opportunities for data centres and highlight the unique advantages offered by Luxembourg.
“Given the 15 year plus investment timeframe of a data centre, the risk facing CTOs are becoming ever broader – from power availability and cost, to technology innovation, to developments in data centre design and management, to environmental legislation, best practice and taxation,” commented Mr Wallage.
“Luxembourg has created an enviable position with excellent power and connectivity, attractive taxation and cost environment, and a secure and reliable location. It can also boast some world-leading facilities already in operation in the country.”
BroadGroup is also due to launch the third bi-annual edition of Data Centres Europe, which will provide the latest market forecast for data centres across 15 EU economies.
