CARTES ‘08: Ingenico takes the industry ‘Beyond Payment’
« Posted: November 04, 2008, 11:09:16 PM »

leader unveils its new vision at CARTES ‘08

CARTES & IDentification, Paris, 4th November 2008: Ingenico, the world’s leading provider of payment solutions, will today unveil its new marketing and strategic vision known as Beyond Payment.

The merger with Sagem Monetel on 31st March 2008 has provided Ingenico with an expanded offering and given birth to a genuine industry powerhouse – a company with a growth strategy geared to a rapidly changing market.

Beyond Payment is a strategy designed to help banks and businesses get maximum value out of their spending on payment solutions, to reduce the complexity of those solutions and to generate additional revenue. At the same time, it makes it easy for them to track and control all their electronic transactions, from terminal to acquirer.

This strategy combines two offers that have already brought Ingenico major success:

• Payment Solutions – payment terminals, software and back-office support to enterprises.
• Transaction Solutions – managing terminal estates, transaction flows and connectivity.

These offerings are now supplemented by Incendo Online, an open environment for developing and managing value added services, from dynamic currency change to mobile-phone refills, from prepayment to fund transfer and much more.

“The payment solutions industry is rapidly changing today, and Ingenico intends to keep on providing its customers with the secure, innovative, end-to-end solutions they are looking for,” stressed Ingenico CEO, Philippe Lazare. “Our durable solutions are just what they need to confront the latest challenges in the payments market, to build customer loyalty and to generate additional revenue.”

Ingenico is the only provider in the business able to deliver such a full suite of solutions. Key to that ability is its global leadership in the payment terminal industry, its deep knowledge of local payment markets and value-added solutions, and the expertise it has built up through 25 years of secure payment systems implementation.

To discover the new Beyond Payment strategy at CARTES and learn more about our three service offers – Payment Solutions, Transaction Solutions and Business Solutions – please stop by the Ingenico Booth N° 4L027 on 4th, 5th and 6th November 2008 at Paris Villepinte.
