EFT930BThe new terminals combine outstanding performance and communication capabilities, the latest PCI PED v2.0 security and revenue opportunities from countless value added services in one unique family. Ergonomic design and a colour screen on the ICT250 deliver a significantly improved user experience.
The new ICT200 series, which features an increased processing capability (32- bit RISC processor ARM9, additional RISC crypto-processor ARM7, 500 Mips, up to 512 Mo memory), provides a uniquely scaleable and high-performance platform to support current and future security applications, including SSL double authentication and DDA, with no impact on transaction speed or reliability. Universally EMV and PCI PED 2.0 ready, security is delivered as standard.
Equipped with an unparalleled array of communication technologies, including fast modem, Ethernet and USB, Ingenico’s ICT220/250 deliver anytime, anywhere connectivity. Uniquely, merchants can extend connectivity with optional GPRS, WiFi or Bluetooth modules, while contactless payment supports mobile phone Near Field Communications (NFC).
This outstanding performance combined with the compact design eliminates technical complexity to assure faultless operation in even the most demanding of banking and retail environments.
Consumers, meanwhile, benefit from the ergonomic styling, intuitively designed keypad, clear graphic displays, backlights and colour screens. All this ensures the most comfortable and convenient user payment experience while allowing the development and deployment of a whole range of compelling value added services – to create a source of differentiation and new revenues for banks and retailers.
Joël Chevillard, Senior EVP Payment Solutions at Ingenico, said: “Thanks to this technological development gap, the ICT200 series not only establishes a new market reference in terms of security and performance, but also opens opportunities to build out a reactive and compelling consumer service proposition as the market evolves.”
Ingenico will be demonstrating the powerful new ICT220 and ICT 250 at CARTES’08 –
