Intelligent building company expands team to meet increased demand
London, 23rd June 2008: CDC, the intelligent buildings experts, has appointed two new experienced and dedicated project managers to meet the rapidly rising demand for intelligent building technology in the UK. Stuart Drummond, Project Manager, and Jonathan Hodges, Project Engineer, who between them have nearly 40 years of industry experience, will help support CDC’s growth by project managing several key customers to ensure that clients maximise their intelligent building technology installations.
With more than 20 years experience in the security sector, Stuart Drummond will be CDC’s resident security specialist. He will work closely with customers to fully integrate all aspects of building security such as access control, intruder alarms and CCTV into CDC’s Integra solution. Before joining CDC, Stuart was a Design Engineer at Tyco Integrated Systems, a system integrator operating in the Intelligent Transport Systems and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) markets. Prior to this, Stuart ran his own company specialising in vehicle license plate recognition technology.
As Project Engineer, Jonathan Hodges will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of CDC’s intelligent building management systems at several key sites. Prior to joining CDC, Jonathan spent 13 years at BAE Integrated Systems (formerly Marconi Radar) where he had a managerial role on operating systems, which included organising large teams of engineers and project budgeting.
Mike Williams, Founder and MD of CDC comments: “As the demand for intelligent buildings grows exponentially, it is vital that we continue to deliver a high level of customer support. Both Jonathan and Stuart have the industry experience, knowledge and understanding to deliver top class service to our all our clients and will be key in the growth of CDC over the next five years.”
