Cool things you should know about Windows Live #1 - Foldershare Today , I came across this post from the Ian Moulster's Blog :"We're releasing quite a bit of new stuff - some in beta, some final
release - around Windows Live and I'm finding that much of the time
people aren't aware of what some of the cool pieces are. So I
decided it might be useful to blog a few of these, and rather than
trying to do it all in one go (which people might not read) I've split
them up into bite-sized chunks that I'll blog over a period of time -
starting today. What is it? Allows you to access files on your home PC from any web browser eg from your work machine. Or the other way around. Or, in fact, allow you to access files from any number of machines from any web browser. Actually
you can do more than that (eg keep a folder synchronized automatically
between multiple machines, share files with friends) but the ability to
remotely access your entire hard drive, from a browser, is a key plus
for me. What's cool about it? It's freeIt's really easy to set up and useThere are plenty of other usage scenariosIt simply works Where do I get it?
www.foldershare.com"That's what the Blog said. Yes, many do not know of this Live Service of FolderShare.I also had blogged about it Windows Live FolderShare Beta
