Appoints 20 Year Veteran To Drive Growth

Putten, The Netherlands, May 09, 2012 – Cordys, the leading BPMS and PaaS software provider that helps companies drive operational excellence, today announced the company has expanded into Australia, opening an office in Melbourne. As part of the expansion, the company has appointed 20 year software veteran Steve Thomas as the Director of ANZ operations.

Cordys CEO Art Landro highlights Cordys’ rapid growth throughout Asia Pacific as a main driver for the expansion. “Our BPMS and PaaS story and solutions are very enthusiastically received throughout APAC, as we now serve well over 50 of the leading companies in the region. Mr. Thomas brings a deep knowledge of the Australian and Asian markets, having run Australian and Asian regional sales, technical support and consulting operations for the likes of Documentum, EMC and Sherpa. “I have seen some impressive software over the 20+ years I’ve been in this industry, but I have not seen any platform that is as robust, flexible and powerful as Cordys. I was immediately drawn to the opportunity because of what Cordys software empowers customers to do for their business.”

Cordys is already used by many of the largest companies in the region, including China Unicom, IFFCO Tokio, China Mobile, ING Vysya, and Aegon Religare. In 2010 Cordys entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Fujitsu, who together with CSC, a Cordys global partner, are aggressively increasing the reach and implementation capabilities of the Cordys platform in the Australian market.
