Managed Authentication Service CRYPTO-MAS Honoured by Network Computing
CRYPTOCard, a leading vendor of two-factor authentication (2FA) solutions, has been voted Managed Services Provider of the Year 2009 by the readers of IT publication, Network Computing, for its CRYPTO-MAS service.
Neil Hollister, CEO of CRYPTOCard, comments; “We are incredibly proud of this achievement, which recognises not just the strength of the service, but also the people and partners that work so hard to deliver the customer service that supports its success.”
The award, which recognises the market leading position of CRYPTOCard’s managed authentication service, CRYPTO-MAS, also highlights the increase in adoption of service-oriented IT strategies. Hollister adds;
“With economic pressures driving down capital investment, cloud-based security services are increasing in their popularity. For local government and financial services organisations this is then further compounded by regulatory compliance that mandates two-factor authentication as a standard security policy for remote access log-in.”
CRYPTO-MAS is a unique managed service which provides a flexible, affordable solution using two-factor authentication technology, and positively identifies individuals before giving them access to applications, data and networks. CRYPTO-MAS simply sits in front of a company’s remote access, VPN network, web site or portal – no hardware or software installation is required. High levels of security can be provided in a matter of minutes.
CRYPTO-MAS has become a core security mechanism in the networks of many integrators and service providers over the past 12 months, with ntl: Telewest being the latest partner to bundle the authentication service into its portfolio.
