Interxion, a leading European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, and euNetworks, Europe’s foremost provider of mission-critical, high performance data services, today announced that euNetworks has connected to and taken space in Interxion’s London and Düsseldorf data centres. The new agreements extend what is already a wide-ranging working relationship, as euNetworks is already present in Interxion’s Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam and Dublin data centres.
In addition to the highest levels of redundancy and security, Interxion’s London and Düsseldorf data centres offer high power density of up to 30kW per cabinet. They also provide an extremely connectivity-rich environment for customers; Interxion London hosts a Point of Presence for the London Internet Exchange (LINX), and Düsseldorf hosts ECIX, the European Commercial Internet Exchange.
euNetworks offers mission-critical, high performance data services which have recently been expanded to include a range of new on-demand and bespoke high-performance services, such as pan-European data centre and stock exchange connectivity to enterprises, carriers and service providers. To enable these on-demand services, euNetworks has pre-provisioned multiple terabits of capacity throughout their pan-European and metropolitan infrastructure.
The Interxion installations will address both medium and high-level customer needs for euNetworks, providing a wide range of interconnectivity as well as sufficiently high redundancy levels and service guarantees to satisfy the most demanding clients.
“Throughout the past years, we have experienced a growing requirement for high performance networking services from our customers. In order to meet this demand, we have pre-provisioned multiple terabits of capacity throughout our pan-European and metropolitan network infrastructure, connecting a multitude of data centres throughout the continent. Our on-demand and bespoke networking solutions deliver high performance and the lowest latency, and Interxion can give us the guarantees we need to deliver our growing portfolio to customers across Europe,” said Barry Nolan, euNetworks COO. “Across Europe, Interxion’s data centres are well placed in thriving commercial hubs, which adds significantly to their attractions for enterprise customers.”
“We provide euNetworks with a ready-made gateway into multiple European markets,” said Anthony Foy, Group Managing Director, Interxion. “Our pan-European footprint allows them to scale their infrastructure whilst connecting with over a thousand other Interxion customers across the Group.”
