LONDON, U.K. — 8 October, 2007 — CommVault® (NASDAQ: CVLT) today announced its continued expansion into the rapidly growing Indian technology market, signing its first distribution agreement in the country with Inflow Technologies and appointing Vivek Anand as Country Sales Manager. By establishing a local sales and distribution presence, CommVault is aiming to provide a timelier and more personalized level of service for enterprises in India and to increase its market share in this burgeoning market.
Inflow Technologies, a master reseller responsible for the recruiting, education, training, development and growth of specific channels, is one of the leading information management solutions and services company in India. Inflow will market and distribute the full CommVault SimpanaTM software suite including Data Protection, Replication, Archive, Search and Storage Resource Management modules and will assist CommVault in the development of its channel across India by recruiting and training suitable reseller candidates. As a well-established player in the Indian market, Inflow will utilize its established traction within the reseller community to launch and expand CommVault’s footprint in India.
Country Sales Manager Appointed
As CommVault’s new country sales manager, Anand will be responsible for sales operations in India with the task of growing CommVault’s channel business and supporting CommVault’s commitment to the Indian market. Anand is the first member of what is expected to be a growing team based out of Mumbai. Focused on developing enterprise sales programs for India, Anand will report to Ross Stewart, CommVault’s regional director of emerging markets which includes the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Russia and India.
