London – 19th August 2008 – Attenda Limited, the Always On Managed Services company, today announced that it has signed a contract with Fulham Football Club to manage and support its corporate website.
Fulham Football Club, part of the Harrods Group, with their home at Craven Cottage, was founded in 1879 and is one of the oldest teams in the English Football Premiership League.
The site is business critical providing online access for the purchase of match day tickets and season tickets, plus valuable information on matches, promotional merchandise and club history.
Commenting on the decision to partner with Attenda, Nicholas Pendlebury, IT Manager, Fulham Football Club, says “It was essential that we stepped up a gear to deliver our fans, customers and sponsors a highly available, highly secure website, providing 24 x 7 operability.”
Under the contract, Attenda will operate and manage the website, delivering the availability, performance and security that Fulham Football Club requires for its business critical online information and transactional website services. The website infrastructure comprises six physical servers located in one of Attenda’s primary data centres, using Attenda shared SAN and NAS storage and shared services.
