Chicago/Stockholm, December 17, 2009 - IBX Group, the leading provider of efficient e-purchasing solutions announced today the opening of its first office in the U.S., based in Chicago. With its new U.S. location, IBX North America Inc. can offer a full range of e-procurement and e-sourcing solutions and managed services to its enterprise clients and large corporations in the U.S. and Canada markets.
Experienced IBX employees with extensive purchasing knowledge will staff the IBX North American office. As a result, US clients will have access to the full range of IBX solutions for e-sourcing and e-procurement as well as managed services from the start. The solutions are delivered as SaaS (Software as a Service) making them scalable and rapid to deploy across enterprises with lower total cost of ownership.
“IBX have a strong procurement proposition to offer the US. We have a long tradition of sharing best practice processes with our customers, ensuring they optimise their procurement systems,” says Per Finnhammar, the newly appointed Vice President of IBX North America Inc. “Since 2005, we have been actively working in North America with our European customers, so with more than one thousand North American suppliers already tied to the IBX Supplier Network, it will be quick and easy for our new clients to generate bottom line results.”
The office is located at the Swedish Trade Council’s premises in the business district on Chicago’s main street, with a view of Millennium Park, the city’s largest green area, and stretching across to Lake Michigan.
“Part of our growth strategy is to expand organically as our clients lead us to new markets. By establishing a presence in the US through recent contract with Kraft Foods, USA’s largest food and beverage producer and our collaboration with Cap Gemini, we will also be able to build relationships with large corporations in North America that can benefit from our solution,” said Mark Masterson, IBX UK Country Manager.”
