To support its new offices in Western Europe, IGEL Technology has hired PR agencies The Communication Force in the Netherlands and the Sine Nomine in France
Reading, UK: October 1, 2012 - IGEL Technology, Germany’s leading provider of thin client solutions, has strengthened its PR activities by engaging two new agencies to assist in expanding and strengthening the IGEL brand within western European markets. The Dutch agency The Communication Force and the French agency Sine Nomine are recognized PR experts in the IT sector.
In the Spring of 2012, IGEL Technology announced its intentions to increase its presence in France, Europe’s fourth biggest thin client market, by opening an office in Paris and also recruiting two new local distributors, ETC and Bestware. The purpose of the new office, headed by Sales Manager Thomas Pernodet, is to provide French customers with a local and comprehensive service and support. The task of the Sine Nomine agency will be to expand media relations and increase awareness of IGEL’s product portfolio in France.
The Netherlands is the third largest thin client market in Europe and last year grew at 25% according to data from analyst group International Data Corporation (IDC). IGEL has had an office in the country, headed by Sales Manager Edwin de Ron, from the beginning of 2012. The Communication Force, located near Amsterdam, will promote the IGEL brand in the Netherlands and help to raise awareness of IGEL’s thin client hardware and software capabilities.
These new PR programs will be coordinated by the Munich PR agency Süddeutscher Verlag, which is in charge of promotional and marketing support for IGEL in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Along with the Amber Group agency in London, IGEL now has a total of four PR agencies supporting its operations across Western Europe.
“These two new PR agencies will help us to steadily move forward in expanding within Western Europe. Their expert knowledge of the IT sector and their excellent contacts to relevant media outlets in their countries will help us to make the IGEL brand and its products even better known and improve our market position,” stated Dr. Frank Lampe, Marketing Director at IGEL Technology.
