The Danish Ingres Usergroup (Dansk Ingres Brugergruppe)
www.ingres.dk in partnership with the Nordic Ingres Support Team from TietoEnator, one of the leading IT services companies in Northern Europe, will share a stand in the exhibition hall of the conference. Callaghan’s session entitled Bringing Open Source to the Enterprise is set for Friday, October 2, at 2.30 p.m. (need time zone) and will look at the factors behind the adoption of open source software in enterprise class applications. Smedly will cover Ingres CAFÉ, a joint open source project between Ingres Corporation and the University of Carleton, Canada, in his session on Saturday, October 4 at 3 p.m. (time zone). Ingres CAFÉ (Consolidated Application Foundation for Eclipse) brings together in one bundle all the components developers need to create and deploy rich Java applications. This type of bundle is an industry first, built using the open source development framework by the Eclipse Foundation, a not-for-profit, community and member supported organization.
