Two billing, roaming, mediation & settlement contracts to be announced at Mobile World Congress 2010

Barcelona/London – February 12th, 2010 – Intec, a global provider of business support systems (BSS) solutions will be announcing, at Mobile World Congress 2010, two separate contracts set to drive new revenue opportunities and margin growth for leading operators, across both emerging and mature markets.  In addition, Intec will be announcing its latest award for its market-leading Wholesale Business Management Solution, “Best Innovative Product Award” from Billing China.

S-Tel, the Batelco subsidiary and latest entrant into the Indian telecommunications market, has announced the procurement of Intec’s entire suite of BSS solutions covering charging, billing and settlement, designed to help the operator drive new revenue streams from new service launches while managing margins and streamlining back-office processes.
Telefonica O2 Czech Republic, with more than seven million fixed and mobile lines, will be deploying Intec’s Optimised Routing solution to enable enhanced routing and revenue optimisation.
Billing China, China’s leading BSS/OSS media outlet, has awarded Intec its prestigious “Best Innovative Product Award” for Intec’s Wholesale Business Management Solution; the citation lauded the product’s unique functionality and ability to provide customers with tangible financial returns, ensuring a faster ROI. 

The two contract announcements add to Intec’s marquee list of telecoms customers including Globalive WIN Mobile, the innovative Canadian mobile service provider.  Globalive selected Intec in 2009 to power its WIND Mobile brand for its Canadian wireless service launch which went live in December 2009, the first national wireless alternative in Canada for over a decade.
