Interxion to Exhibit at SIFMA’s 29th Annual Technology Management Conference and Exhibit in New York
LONDON, 16th June 2009 - Interxion, a leading European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, today announced that it will be exhibiting at the SIFMA Annual Technology Management Conference and Exhibit, taking place from 23-25 June, at the Hilton in New York.
The exhibition is the financial services technology industry's leading event with more than 8,000 visitors from across the globe. SIFMA (Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association) is a non-profit industry association that represents the shared interests of participants in the global financial markets.
At the show, Interxion will be discussing the opportunities and challenges presented by the fragmentation of European financial markets, most notably for North American proprietary trading groups and algorithmic traders. With its pan-European data centre footprint, close proximity to major European exchanges, and community of Multilateral Trading Facilities (MTFs), Interxion offers market participants a turnkey infrastructure solution for launching in Europe. Interxion offers a range of bespoke capital markets services.
“Market participants are looking for precisely what Interxion provides—low-latency access to multiple markets from a single location, ample space, high-density power and robust, well-connected infrastructure,” said Anthony Foy, Interxion Group MD. “We also host an extensive and fast-growing financial community which includes trading venues, buy-side and sell-side firms, clearing houses and service providers.
“Our Proximity Hosting and Financial Hub packages help customers to achieve greater trade speeds leading to increased revenues as well as the ability to change trading strategies with ease. Additionally we offer low TCO (total cost of ownership) when accessing these markets, by offering choice and the ability to manage down networking costs.”
Interxion is looking forward to welcoming the capital markets community at booth #2313 in the SIFMA Exhibition main hall.
