Interxion to Support 4th Power and Cooling Event for Data Centres
« Posted: October 20, 2009, 06:55:23 PM »

Interxion, a leading European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, today announced it will be supporting the Broad Group’s 4th Power and Cooling Event for Data Centres in London on the 22nd October 2009.

This year’s theme revolves around the issue of using innovation to reduce cost and energy consumption and increasing efficiency in data centres. For one day the event will explore an array of new solutions emerging to tackle the most critical issue in data centres today - cost.

Lex Coors, Director of Engineering and Vice President of the Data Centre Technology & Engineering Group at Interxion, will be speaking on a panel discussion entitled “Strategies for Power and Cooling,” where he will share his expertise on modular data centre design, energy efficiency, and cooling methods in the data centre.

"The Power and Cooling for Data Centres Event is an ideal opportunity for us to share ideas and details on innovation for new power and cooling methods and technologies that can reduce energy usage and overall spend,” said Greg McCulloch, Managing Director, Interxion, UK. “We want to take an active part in the debate and contribute our experience and expertise to the issue of efficiency in the data centre.”
