Upgrade Also Includes New Functionality for Litigation Discovery

LONDON January 21, 2010 – Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE: IRM), an information management services company, today announced an update to its Connected® backup for PC solution to support Microsoft Windows® 7 users. The upgrade, Version 8.4, will also include support for litigation discovery and is available now for license. The subscription version of the service will be available from March 2010.

All data is transmitted and stored in a compressed format to reduce network loads and minimise storage needs. The EmailOptimizer® option can reduce storage requirements for Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes applications by recognising duplicate email attachments and storing them only once, significantly reducing storage requirements and simplifying recovery.
