July 28, 2008 - Manbujia, a leading provider of wireless broadband roaming solutions for consumers and network operators in Asia, today announces that it has signed a connectivity agreement which will enable Quiconnect’s international telecom company customers the ability to offer their own end-users access to Wi-Fi hotspot infrastructure in China.
Through its network operator partnerships with major local market operators including China Netcom, Manbujia has many strategic and important areas of China enabled for Wi-Fi roaming, including Beijing airport and the Central Business District. Final integration and testing has also been completed with other key network providers within China which will allow Manbujia to provide comprehensive coverage for the Beijing Olympics.
Charles Ashley, Manbujia’s founder and CEO, says, “This partnership is exciting as it demonstrates the hard work that we have put into providing a reliable and stable gateway for wireless broadband roaming in China. Quiconnect’s reputation as an international interconnectivity specialist with leading telcos and network operators was key to this agreement as we rapidly expand our customer and network operator base. Similarly, our Chinese partners’ wireless broadband networks add significant roaming footprint for Quiconnect’s own customers in one of the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic of markets.”
The hosting of the Olympics in Beijing between August 8-24, 2008 has made the timing of this agreement key as it will provide thousands of visitors to the games with reliable and affordable Wi-Fi access.
Jeff Mabe, Quiconnect’s vice president, sales and marketing, says, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Manbujia as it represents a fantastic opportunity for our clients to provide their own customers, in other words the travelling public, with seamless Wi-Fi roaming within China during this historic time.”
