Dynamic Malaysian trading house MasOil has deployed software as a service (SaaS) trade and risk management by Aspect Enterprise Solutions.

The move to AspectETRM – which gives 25 MasOil staff access to real-time on-screen data capture and analysis on desktops as well as PDAs and other mobile devices – has ended time-wasting manual recording and is enabling week-on-week growth in informed, more profitable transactions. It has also been the catalyst for cost savings through increased efficiencies and tighter integration between trading, back office and operations functions.

MasOil which started business since 2004 and has rapidly established a position as Malaysia’s leading boutique specialist in petroleum trading, to date some 3.3 million metric tons of various oil grades.
