London, 16th June, 2009 - Mimecast®, an email management company offering SaaS-based email archiving, continuity, security and policy control, today announced it has formed an alliance with Cable&Wireless Worldwide, one of the world’s leading communication companies. The partnership is a significant step in the development of the Mimecast Partner Program. Cable&Wireless has integrated the Mimecast service to complement its current hosted Microsoft Exchange offering.

By working with Mimecast, Cable&Wireless is now able to offer email archiving, which complies with the regulation requiring companies to archive their email for 10 years.  Delivered as a service, with sub-second email retrieval and backed by industry leading SLAs this alleviates the burden that currently sits with pressured IT teams that have many business critical projects they need to address.
