Pannon and its djuice brand of Hungary choose Momail for their mobile email services offering to consumers and small businesses.
Stockholm, Sweden – October 28, 2009. Momail announces that yet another Telenor country has signed for its award winning mobile email platform. This time it’s Telenor’s subsidiary in Hungary, Pannon that decided that its brands Pannon and djuice will base their consumer and SME mobile email services on Momails mobile email platform. The djuice mobile email service is already launched and Pannon’s is soon to come. The deal also marks the continuation of Momails success within the Telenor group, with Promonte (Telenor/Montenegro) running for more than a year and several pilots ongoing.
“Momails mobile platform gives our consumer customers an easy and fast way to mobile email. With a minimum of efforts from our side the Momail team managed to deliver our branded and customized service within weeks. So, now our customers can enjoy their email communication on the widest selection of mobiles on the market”, says Balázs Biró, Chief Commercial Officer of djuice.
Telenor is the world’s fifth largest operator with operations in 13 countries across Europe and Asia and with 168 million subscribers (June 2009). With the mobile email platform from Momail, Telenor’s customers can get their emails on the widest range of mobile phones, today more than 1500 different models. And with Momails patented Mobile Message Optimization & Protection Engine (MMOPE) all emails, including attachments like photos and documents, are optimized with up to 99,9% before reaching the mobile. This speeds up the transfer, saves mobile data traffic and makes all email and attachments auto-adjusted for each end users mobile model.
“We are excited to get these new contracts within the Telenor Group. Being partner with the group and to participate in bringing new mobile services to the market, is to be in the forefront of mobility”, says Roger Grönberg, CEO of Momail.
