“Our customers see Desktop Virtualisation as a strategic imperative, not a tactical move,” says Aman Khan, European Managing Director Data Centre and Cloud Business at NextiraOne. “Data security, compliance, support for a remote and mobile workforce and easy management of diverse end-user devices are some of the key drivers for desktop virtualisation projects, along with migration to Microsoft Windows 7. In our view from working with a wide range of customers, the key to the success of any desktop virtualisation project is the end-user experience. Therefore, our Smart VXI solution enables all kinds of end-user devices - such as PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, audio and video systems and the associated applications - to connect with each other effectively”
The NextiraOne Smart VXI solution is designed to significantly improve individual productivity, increase efficiency within IT Management and also improve energy utilisation. NextiraOne is able to offer this end-to-end Private Cloud solution globally through its extensive sales organisation in 16 countries in Europe and the USA.
The new solution represents an expansion in NextiraOne’s growing Data Centre portfolio, delivered internationally to customers in cooperation with its eco-partners. “Virtualisation and Cloud is not the end of this process,” adds Aman Khan. “This is a continued journey of constant improvement as our customers move to higher levels of virtualisation in their data centres. Our role, with our experts, is to accompany our customers throughout this journey, delivering further cost and efficiency benefits.”
