Homelessness and housing managers are being given an unique opportunity by leading housing services provider, Northgate Information Solutions, to combine a working seminar with a visit to the new Wembley Stadium.
Launching a series of seminars for social housing practitioners aimed at delivering efficient and effective citizen-centred services, Northgate’s first Housing Options seminar kicks off at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 31st October 2007.
Housing advice and homelessness managers will be able to hear government and housing experts discuss what improvements can be made to service the needs of homeless people within their communities.
The seminar will be followed by a tour of Wembley Stadium, allowing participants to view the largest stadium in the world and the breathtaking 133m arch at first hand.
Joe Bradley, Managing Director of Northgate Local Government and Social Housing said today:
“We all know that a huge project like the construction of Wembley Stadium involves a variety of separate tasks and stages. Wembley Stadium is a national phenomenon - something that we can all enjoy and be proud of – and a vital part of our nation’s life.
“At Northgate we believe passionately that social housing has an integral part to play in delivering community well being and creating strong and sustainable communities, now and in the future.
“Working in collaboration with the social housing sector we aim to restore a strong sense of pride in social housing by helping to build and deliver high quality housing services which place the needs of low income and vulnerable households at their heart. We look forward to welcoming housing and homeless managers to this series of events.”
