Agreement extends Options IT’s high-performance technology infrastructure, managed hosting, market data and connectivity services to Interxion’s colocation facility

Interxion, a leading European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, today announced that Options IT, a leading provider of high-performance technology Infrastructure-as-a-Service for the buyside and sellside, has expanded its global Options PIPE platform to Interxion’s City of London Financial Hub.

Through the agreement, Options IT has connected via dark fibre to Interxion’s Financial Hub from its data centre in Northwest London and now provides its full suite of services ― including fully redundant front-, middle-, and back-office technology infrastructure and managed hosting, ultra-low latency market data, and connectivity ― to the large and growing community of high-frequency traders and brokers currently residing in Interxion’s Financial Hub.

The Financial Hub is an ultra-secure physical space within Interxion’s data centre that is strategically located at the heart of the financial markets in the City of London, enabling the financial community to interconnect with extremely low latency. The Options PIPE platform provides hedge funds, proprietary trading shops, private equity firms, investment banks, and brokerages with a complete technology infrastructure delivered with the efficiencies of a hosted service and the scalability, strength and security of an enterprise solution. This is the latest in a series of recent expansions for Options IT across North America, Europe and Asia.
