-IT giant to host an array of live demos at the UK's number one IT infrastructure event-
London, UK – 10 October 2012 – Oracle will showcase and demonstrate a variety of its latest technological innovations and business solutions, including Big Data, Virtualization, Cloud, Infrastructure and Security at IP EXPO.
During the show at London’s Earls Court 2, Oracle’s business and technical specialists will demonstrate the firm's unique ability to work with customers across the entire stack, from servers and storage to database and middleware, through to applications and the cloud.
This year's IP EXPO will see the debut of the Oracle Technology Demo Lab, which features interactive, technical demos of Oracle’s hardware and software solutions. During these invaluable sessions, delegates will have the opportunity to view Oracle's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Big Data, and SPARC systems in action, as well as take part in lively technological debates.
On stand C56 during the two-day event, Oracle will showcase products including Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure; Secure Global Desktop; Oracle Enterprise Manager 12C; SPARC server products; Solaris 11; Enterprise Manager Op Center Software; and Oracle Big Data.
Oracle’s Mike Connaughton will keynote on day one of IP EXPO in a joint session with Apache Lucene Creator, Apache Hadoop Co-Creator and Chief Architect at Cloudera, Doug Cutting. The pair's keynote, Unlocking the Power of Big Data with Hadoop will examine how to derive real business value from Big Data and the technologies that can help businesses to succeed.
