London, 21st October 2008 – PageOne, the UK’s leading mobile technology company, today announces the launch of its next generation mobile messaging service called ‘Connect II’. This new system offers users a more advanced, powerful and extremely resilient suite of services with added benefits such as enhanced security with up to 256-bit SSL encryption, as well as advanced message types that include Flash and WAP Push.

The demands of today's fast paced corporate environment make it critical for businesses to constantly stay in contact with its staff and customers.  Based on some extensive client collaboration, PageOne has developed a comprehensive messaging solution containing a new feature rich messaging capability and enhanced functionality, all delivered in a sleek new interface.

Connect II also provides a sophisticated two-way facility that offers users a truly interactive SMS experience.  Users are able to select, reply or forward inbound text messages to any number of different contacts or devices, as on a personal mobile phone. Connect II’s inbox filtering facility then allows you to find a message from a specific sender instantly.  Administrative control is also increased with the option to centralise the organisation's address book, allowing administrators to make global modifications to user contact lists.

Other new features of Connect II include:

- At a glance status reporting
Using Connect II’s new “traffic light” system, users know at a glance the exact delivery status of their messaging.

- Advanced message types as standard
Advanced message options such as Flash, WAP Push, vCal and vCard, as well as standard and scheduled messaging are included with every account.

- Enhanced message templates
Predefined message templates can now include; time, date and free text fields allowing users to further streamline their business processes.

Chris Jones, CEO, PageOne, commented: “Communication with staff and customers is crucial for any business. It is the flexibility of Connect II, coupled with our consultative approach that allows PageOne to offer solutions that are so perfectly tailored to customers’ requirements. Its secure web-based messaging service, and fully integrated messaging solution, will make it the system of choice for businesses across the UK.”
