DragonSoft to Extend Reach of Perforce Enterprise Version Management Solutions to Burgeoning Chinese Market
Wokingham, UK (December 19, 2012) – Perforce Software today announced its partnership with Shanghai DragonSoft Digital Technology, which will expand the presence of Perforce in China. DragonSoft has joined the Perforce Partner Program as a global sales partner and will leverage its decade of technical experience as well as its local market experience to help Perforce deploy its enterprise version management software in China.

DragonSoft, which provides software outsourcing development, testing, system import, maintenance and other services, has extensive technical experience with Perforce, having been the localization centre for the Japanese version of Perforce. DragonSoft estimates that the development tool marketplace in China was worth $2.8 billion in 2011, and is growing by more than 30% every year. Version control software has seen rapid adoption in China, and existing Chinese customers of Perforce have enjoyed a better overall experience than they have had with other SCM providers in the region.
