December 18th, 2008 – Fujikura Europe Ltd has seen an increase in revenue within its Hire Service sector as customers feel cost pressures in the current economic climate. The Hire and Service division rents out the very latest communications network installation and maintenance equipment, including the FSM-60S fusion splicer and CT-30 cleaver products, as well as providing servicing and maintenance on purchased Fujikura products.
Established in 1988, the service offers UK customers high quality, specialist equipment on short and long term contracts. Fujikura has invested heavily in a service centre situated at Chessington, Surrey, offering customer service, expert engineering, repairs and maintenance. The team of experienced factory trained engineers offers product training, technical support, site visits and on-the-spot repairs.
“Many of our customers, including telecommunications and internet service providers, network maintenance companies and major enterprises, are looking at ways of lowering their capital spend whilst upholding the same standards of communications and service; the Fujikura Europe hire service, complete with expert training and comprehensive customer support, meets that need," said Service Department Manager, Neil Bessant. “This is a major part of Fujikura Europe's business and we expect to see continued growth as the economic conditions remain this way."
Fujikura Europe equipment is fully tested, calibrated and built to conform to the most stringent of industry standards. The state of the art fibre optic splicing equipment and accessories are rigorously tested prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Along with monthly hire incentives, the Fujikura Europe Service and Hire department offers a range of comprehensive service contracts, allowing customers to accurately budget for maintenance costs for the forthcoming year without the risk of incurring unplanned bills.
