Spotlights latest Storage, Cloud, Network & Key Management solutions, alongside widest ever array of authentication offerings

LONDON - 12th April, 2012 - SafeNet, Inc., a global leader in information security, today announced their participation in Infosecurity Europe 2012, the biggest European information security event that will take place in London on 24 – 26 April. On its stand D81, SafeNet will be showcasing its award-winning, market-leading authentication and data protection solutions and running a series of authentication clinics including live hacking demonstrations to show how multi-layered data protection strategies can address current security threats and risks.

SafeNet will have an expanded presence at this year’s event following its recent acquisition of authentication solutions provider Cryptocard. As a result, Infosecurity Europe will be an ideal opportunity to see how SafeNet is further cementing its leadership position as the world’s number one provider of authentication solutions and developing its portfolio with Authentication-as-a-Service offerings.

Infosecurity 2012 will be the first opportunity to experience live demos of the company’s leading data protection solutions, including StorageSecure, ProtectV, KeySecure and HSMs (hardware security modules).

StorageSecure enables organisations to achieve compliance and protect files on any network attached storage (NAS), while ProtectV secures data stored on virtual machines and storage volumes. SafeNet’s key management solutions KeySecure and HSMs allow organisations to respectively manage and store encryption keys in a hardware-based repository, outside the data centre.

The product demos will be accompanied by a series of live hacking demonstrations on the SafeNet stand. Jason Hart, former ethical hacker and current VP Cloud Solutions at SafeNet, will be showing how SafeNet’s authentication and data protection solutions can address vulnerabilities and offer stronger security for mobile devices.

Infosecurity Europe is the biggest information security event in Europe, attracting more than 300 exhibitors and over 10,000 decision makers from the security industry.
