London, UK, 30 July 2008 – Say Communications today announced that it has been appointed by Phocas, a global leader in simple, accessible business intelligence (BI), to launch and drive their UK PR initiative.
Say won the account, valued in the region of 50K, with the aim of running a comprehensive communications campaign to build brand awareness and differentiate Phocas in the increasingly cluttered and competitive BI market. Say devised a multipronged programme to raise the profile for Phocas’s simple-to-use tools and services, which crystalises the company’s offering and positions Phocas’s executives as thought leaders.
Phocas is widely regarded as one of the world’s most significant providers of accessible BI with over 6000 active users throughout Europe, America and Australasia and a 95% customer retention rate year on year. Say are determined to elevate such a successful yet underplayed company into the heart of the software market and aim to bring the true values and benefits of BI sales analysis to the attention of Phocas’s core vertical markets.
“We're delighted to be partnering with Phocas,” says Director, Louise Stewart-Muir, Say Communications. “It is an excellent addition to our portfolio, with BI now becoming an increasingly major player in the technology market. It is exciting to be working with one of the industry’s pioneers and we’re looking forward to a long and productive relationship together.”
Paul Magee, Managing Director, Phocas said, “Say’s expertise and track record in the enterprise software sector made them the obvious choice. The team demonstrated a clear understanding of our company and we were particularly impressed with Say’s innovative approach to our brief and in-depth understanding of our market. Our reputation within our field has been underplayed for far too long - we are very confident that working together, Say will help Phocas to achieve the prominence we deserve.”
