Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has today announced the launch of a new social media platform "Sheraton Shared Moments" which enables users to share their travel experiences with friends and family and the public via the internet. Those who sign up to the portal and share their moments also have the chance to win one of five dream holidays to a luxury Sheraton Hotel or Resort.
Simply by uploading a photo, saying where it was taken, how it felt and what made this moment special and then by answering a few questions on your travel likes and dislikes, users will be entered into the competition to win one of five week-long stays in a Sheraton hotel best suited to their travel preferences, be that in Milan, Lisbon, Stockholm, Tenerife or even the Red Sea in Egypt!

2. To upload a photo simply click to upload a photo either from your computer or to upload a new photo with your webcam
3. Share a short message (no more than 140 letters) saying why your moment is better when shared
4. Tell us where you are and select how you feel from the drop down list
Images are automatically pulled in from Flickr based on your stated location to create your personal collage
5. Share your moment through your social networks (via Facebook, Twitter, your blog or via email) and for users in competition markets , visitors can choose if want to participate in the contest or just to share your moment
6. Choosing to participate will then offer you the chance to set your travel preferences. Based on the preferences the site will present you with a dream location to fit and you will be placed in the draw to win a 7-night stay in a Sheraton hotel or resort in that location.
