Silverlight 1.0 Released...plus a big surprise

As of today, Silverlight version 1.0 is released to the web. In fact, if you've checked out the cool Halo 3 video I linked to last week, that's using the final bits.
Among the cool stuff we're announcing today, there's a bunch of folks jumping on the Silverlight bandwagon, including:

Home Shopping Network
Entertainment Tonight
World Wrestling Entertainment
But perhaps the coolest thing is that we are partnering with Novell to provide an implementation of Silverlight for Linux called Moonlight. Which means that Silverlight developers can target not just Windows and Mac, but Linux as well.
