Northampton, UK, 27th August 2009:  Intamac Systems, a global market leader in Connected Home services, has secured £1M in funding to support the deployment of a range of Zigbee controlled consumer devices as part of the company’s Smart Grid power management services.   These new devices will be managed through Intamac's award-winning web-based Home Manager™ service.

The Intamac Home Manager service provides consumers with a simple interface to which they can monitor and control devices in their homes using the Web or any mobile device.  The Intamac platform has been used to support the deployment of a range of mobile and broadband based value-added services with corporate partners on 3 continents.  It provides major service providers with white label solutions that can be rapidly deployed helping grow ARPU and reduce customer churn.

With a proven track record in delivering security, automation, and telecare services to partners, Intamac is now able to add energy management to provide the most complete whole-home monitoring, management and messaging service.  The recently announced iPhone application allows consumers to remotely monitor and control their homes, track energy usage in real time, and adopt practical services such as the ability to automatically power down devices left on standby when the home is not occupied or the occupants go to bed.
