Strategic alliance between Cambridge Technology Partners and Vamosa to address enterprise content compliance and governance

Geneva - August 21, 2009 - Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP) and Vamosa, a provider of software and solutions for Enterprise Content Governance (ECoG) today announced a partnership to combine CTP’s management and IT consulting services with Vamosa’s ECoG solutions. The partnership will provide customers with a range of technologies to analyze, cleanse, migrate, monitor and maintain unstructured content types, such as Web and document content.

“The notion of web and enterprise content governance is gaining more attention within the enterprise. The challenge many organizations face today is compliance (or lack of it) with internal and external policies and regulatory standards,” said Vijay Srinivasan, CEO at CTP. “While enterprise content tends to be driven by content quality and governance principles, many organizations often end up with content that is not accessible, not cost-controlled and impossible to search.”

Most companies usually realize the content governance challenges only when they launch a Content Migration or Consolidation project. CTP response to this trend is to help companies understand and address these challenges and to support them in defining the necessary governance processes supported by proven methodology and leading technology. Vamosa is the only company that offers an integrated suite of products to manage the end-to-end process of discovering, transforming, deploying and maintaining content quality.

“As part of our expansion plans in Europe, we have partnered with CTP, one of the leading Swiss consulting firms, because of its solid track record in Enterprise Content Management and experience in working with large organizations,” said George Knox CEO at Vamosa. “Partnering with Cambridge Technology Partners allows us to deploy our products to leading companies and government organizations in Switzerland, bringing high visibility and control to all web content stake holders across these organisations.”

CTP and Vamosa will provide solutions including Content Audit, Content Governance and Content Migration, focusing on leading platforms like Microsoft SharePoint, Documentum, Oracle UCM, IBM Lotus Notes, Day Software, amongst others.
