TalkTalk launches six-figure ad campaign for new package

TalkTalk, the home phone and broadband company, has launched a major six-figure advertising campaign to promote its new flexible package, myTalkTalk.

The campaign, which runs across TV, radio, print, digital and DM, broke on Boxing Day and will run throughout January and February.

The TV ads – created by CHI & Partners – feature TalkTalk’s famous moving shapes creative and are running across various peak and DRTV channels in 60”, 40” and 20” executions.

The radio campaign, created by Radioville, features bombastic thespians Tom Baker (Doctor Who) and Brian Blessed (I, Claudius) who boast to each other about who has chosen the best TalkTalk package.

Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director, TalkTalk, said: “We revolutionised the market with our free broadband offer and now we are revolutionising it again with myTalkTalk – a package that can be tailored to your individual needs – so you only pay for what you want. Our new ads highlight the incredible value and unique flexibility myTalkTalk provides, while maintaining the brand’s simple, fresh and relevant tone.”

myTalkTalk provides an essential home phone and broadband plan for just £6.49 (plus £10.50 line rental) giving consumers: fast, reliable, and award-winning up to 8Mb broadband; 40Gb monthly download allowance; unlimited evening and weekend phone calls to UK landlines unlimited international landline calls to 36 destinations anytime and a free wireless router.

myTalkTalk also comes with six additional Boost products from which customers can choose to upgrade and bespoke their service. The Boosts that customers can choose from are: Anytime Calls, ½ Price Mobile Calls, Download Plus, Calling Features, Speed Boost and Security Boost.
