…Interest and adoption of VoIP services by UK businesses continues to rise…
LONDON – Monday 21st May 2012 – Telappliant, the leading Internet telephony provider for UK based small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs), has announced it has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Internet Telephony’ category by the Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) in their 14th annual awards.
The results will be announced at an evening ceremony on 3rd July 2012 at the Park Lane Sheraton Hotel. Entrants for the awards underwent rigorous testing by the ISPA’s technical testing partners, Malden Electronics.
Tan Aksoy, Chief Executive Officer at Telappliant, commented, “We are thrilled to be recognised as a key provider of high quality telephony services in the UK and we look forward to the July awards ceremony. It’s encouraging to see that the take up of VoIP is still continuing to rise. In fact our March 2012 study found that 41 per cent of UK companies are already actively using VoIP telephony to improve efficiencies within their business, while a further 25 per cent have plans to review and implement VoIP within the next 12 months. Awards such as these acknowledge the increased adoption of VoIP, and that technology in the sector is continuing to advance and support businesses in a very positive way.”
