Camberley, Surrey, UK – 10th August, 2012 – Telindus announced today it has achieved the new Architecture Specialisations required for its on-going certification as a Cisco® Gold Certified Partner. To earn the specialisations, Telindus had to meet rigorous standards set forth by Cisco in Advanced Borderless Networks Architecture, Advanced Collaboration Architecture and Advanced Data Centre Architecture, which it achieved well ahead of the July 2013 deadline.
Marek Lowther, managing director of Telindus, commented: “This places us at the forefront of the latest technology developments in key areas that enrich our solutions and support our customer’s business transformation agendas, including BYOD, mobility, cloud computing and productivity.
“We invest heavily in our people, our facilities and our partner relationships, to deliver innovative, business enabling solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. For us, Telindus’ achievement of these specialisations:
Underscores our significant ongoing investment to remain ahead of the curve
Reinforces the skillsets throughout our organisation, and built into our service portfolio, enabling Telindus to provide best advice and cost effective customer deployments
Underlines Telindus’ commitment to delivering innovative solutions
Demonstrates Telindus’ capability at delivering core networking, wireless, data centre, security and unified communications solutions to address the business challenges of customers.
“It is a recognition of the high level of expertise throughout Telindus’ organisation in the latest Cisco technologies, with members of our account management, consultancy, solution design, system engineering and field engineering teams all acquiring accreditation. In addition, Telindus’ industry leading facilities have played a key part in the accreditation process: state-of-the-art demonstration facilities for each of the key propositions; and extensive support laboratory, for proof-of-concept, post-sales support, and training; plus their 24/7/365 Service Management Centre.
“The Cisco Architecture Specializations are designed to help Cisco channel partners meet a wide range of customer needs,” said Richard McLeod, senior director of collaboration architecture for the worldwide partner group at Cisco. “Achieving the Cisco Advanced Architecture Specializations provides Telindus with access to comprehensive sales and technical training as well as support from Cisco.”
The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides a framework for partners to build the sales, technical and Cisco Lifecycle Services skills required to deliver Cisco solutions to end customers. Through the program's specialisations and certifications, Cisco recognises a partner's expertise in deploying solutions based on Cisco advanced technologies and services. Using a third-party audit process, the program validates a partner’s technology skills, business practices, customer satisfaction, pre-sales and post-sales support capabilities, and other critical factors that customers consider when choosing a trusted partner.
As a Cisco Gold Certified Partner Telindus has met the requirements for attaining the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies by achieving Cisco’s advanced specialisations. In addition, Telindus has integrated Cisco Lifecycle Services into its offerings and is required to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Cisco Gold Certification provides Telindus with access to comprehensive sales, technical, and lifecycle services training and support available from Cisco.
