Trinity Convergence & Paradial Announce Interoperability Of Voip Software Solutions
Collaboration and testing streamlines deployment of next generation voice and video over IP products and services
Oslo, Norway & Research Triangle Park, NC – October 23, 2007. Focused on helping product manufacturers and service providers streamline the deployment of new IP-based communication products and services, Trinity Convergence, a leading provider of software solutions for IP communications devices, and Paradial, a provider of carrier-grade IP connectivity solutions, today announced interoperability between their solutions.
The companies have conducted extensive STUN, TURN and SIP interoperability testing between the VeriCall® family of voice + video over IP software from Trinity Convergence and Paradial’s RealTunnel© firewall and NAT traversal product. The ability to deliver highly interoperable and proven solutions helps to simplify the deployment of new voice and video over IP-based services.
“Our OEM and service provider customers must be able to focus on their business objectives and keeping end-user satisfaction high,” stated Paradial CEO, Ingvar Aaberg. “The collaboration with Trinity Convergence demonstrates our effort to lower both the barriers to entry and support costs in the VoIP and Video phone markets.”
“The interoperability testing we have carried out with Paradial simplifies the deployment of customers’ products in the field,” stated David Brown, CTO of Trinity Convergence. “The effort we’re making behind the scenes ensures that our customers can feel confident about the quality and performance of their offerings in any network configuration. In addition, we’re very pleased with how this complements and adds value to the extensive interoperability testing we’ve completed with other SIP-based end-point devices. ”
Performance & Cost Benefits
The interoperability testing between the VeriCall software and RealTunnel server technology benefits manufacturers and service providers by streamlining software integration; lowering testing costs; increasing the overall performance and quality of the product/service; and reducing service issues and overall support costs.
The Companies’ Solutions
Trinity Convergence provides SIP-based voice and video over IP software platforms for manufacturers of communications products including VoIP phones, IP video phones and dual-mode handsets. Paradial develops carrier-grade software for securely and efficiently connecting IP-based calls across firewalls, NAT devices and web proxies that can block IP communications.
Paradial’s STUN and TURN servers are highly scaleable and designed to allow customers to deploy IP communication services without worrying about firewalls, NAT devices and web proxies that otherwise prevent end-users from accessing communication services. Interoperability with the SIP software client and STUN & TURN implementations running in Trinity’s VeriCall software helps to reduce or eliminate quality of service (QoS) issues that arise when placing calls across firewalls and other network gateways.
Trinity Convergence will be demonstrating its VeriCall® software in booth (#408) at the Fall VON 2007 conference in Boston taking place Oct 30-31. For more information, visit
