TuringSMI Makes Three Strategic Appointments, Strengthening the Company’s Presence in the BSM Sector
Fareham, England, August 1st 2008- Turing SMI Group Ltd., announces today three strategic appointments, strengthening the company’s presence in the BSM sector, part of the global IT management software market valued at over $15 billion*. The move will see Johann Diaz, Nigel Beane and Daryle Burt appointed as divisional directors for TuringSMI’s Telecoms, Managed Services and Strategic Business Unit divisions respectively.
Johann Diaz has been appointed to the role of divisional director of the TuringSMI Telecoms Division, effective immediately. Diaz will help to launch and develop the telecoms global customer base, ensuring that TuringSMI is recognised as a thought leader and expert in the field of telecoms service management. In the role Diaz will head up the recently launched Telecoms Division, which targets the estimated $600m* global market for Operational Support Systems (OSS) and IT Service Management in the telecoms sector. The new division will offer telecoms customers a unique combination of skills focused around the fusion of Business Service Management (BSM), OSS technologies, associated process and organisational implications.
Nigel Beane will hold the role of divisional director of the Managed Services division. Beane will provide strategic, commercial and operational support to TuringSMI’s global Managed Services customer base. Beane’s goal over the next year will be to help grow the Managed Services division, ensuring that TuringSMI’s customer’s IT and business goals are perfectly aligned, enabling them to grow revenues, lower costs and reduce risk. The move will help cement TuringSMI’s position as a leading global provider of BMC BSM solutions and help to strengthen the company’s presence in the BSM Managed Services sector.
As the director of TuringSMI’s Strategic Business Unit (SBU) for BSM Daryle Burt will provide strategic, commercial and operational expertise, enabling TuringSMI to develop and expand the company’s BSM capability through staff recruitment, training and acquisition. Burt and the BSM SBU will also be responsible for directly managing TuringSMI’s top strategic BSM accounts.
